Fall Landscape Watercolor Workshop

Fall Landscape Painting with Ink & Watercolor Workshop
$28.00

Fall is Here! I have a new Workshop , Fall Landscape Painting with Ink & Watercolor.

We will paint a very loose but beautiful landscape based on summer fading into fall colors using a majority of inks.

Date: October 12, 2024

Time: 9:30am Arizona time

Where: Online ZOOM!. You will receive a replay if you can’t join live for 30 days.. you will receive the zoom link the day before the session

Description:

This workshop will focus on building a landscape with inks, using your brushes and allowing the inks to flow in open areas, then creating small more defined areas to add textures. We will throw in a little bit of watercolor as well but it will be made up of a majority of inks. If you would rather paint it with watercolors, you can water down you watercolor colors to create an ink like consistency. Just keep in mind they won't be as pigmented as the inks when watered down.

You will receive a pdf for print of a rough outline of the landscape that you can trace on your watercolor paper or use it as reference to sketch out the landscape design.

Your creativity is waiting for you. all skill levels are welcome, yes that includes someone who has never touched a watercolor brush to someone who is a professional artist

I suggest a 8x10 or 11x14 sheet. I will be working from an 11x14 watercolor coldpress paper from strathmore vision. Here is the link for9x12 and the11x15pads

Bring your own materials. I suggest: a variety of inks and watercolor paint, think fall colors : yellows, oranges, crimson, sepia, greens, watercolor sketchbook/coldpress watercolor paper, mix of round watercolor brushes: #2, #6, cloth or paper towel, 2 cups of water, and artist tape. If using inks here are the ones I will be using CLICK HERE
